Why not visit?
Aldeburgh
Aldeburgh is a wonderful coastal town to visit with lovely shops, a pebble beach that goes on for miles, and fantastic restaurants, including some of the best fish & chips in the country.
Wander along the coast and visit the Aldeburgh Martello tower. Sail a model boat on the boating lake. Explore the Lifeboat centre. Visit the Meare at Thorpeness and row around the delightful little islands. But most of all eat lots of ice cream!
Southwold
Situated on the North Sea coast, Southwold is a wonderful place to visit for the day. Eat fish & chips on the beach, spend time on the pier, or get your fix of shopping in the town.
The area surrounding Southwold is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Southwold itself is a jewel in the Suffolk crown.
Walberswick
Set on the serenely unspoilt Suffolk coast, the Georgian town of Walberswick is a sepia-tinted, English seaside dream. It’s a great place for time on the sandy beach, walking, bird watching and cycling.
There is a small ferry boat to take foot passengers across the River Blyth to Southwold Harbour (April onwards). t:01502 478712
