FOOD AND DRINK
As a county, Suffolk does food well! From cosy local pub food, gastro-pub food, amazing bakery’s, chocolatiers, coffee houses, ale, cider and even wine. It is known as ‘The foodie County’ and it is easy to see why, you will never go hungry or thirsty in and county blessed with the fruits of its land and sea. The local produce here is amazing and put this in the hands of some incredible local chefs and you are spoilt for choice choosing where to eat.
What better way to enjoy a holiday either to prepare and cook your own local food and drink and enjoy it in the beautiful surroundings of your very own yurt or let others do the work and discover the beautiful settings of some of the local pubs and restaurants. There are some amazing pubs within cycling and walking distance, so you can build up your appetite first!
Exploring the Suffolk heritage coast means you must sample some of the delicious ice-creams and award-winning fish and chips it has to offer.
We can provide you with locally baked breads and croissants in our breakfast hampers and delicious local ice cream, beers and wines available at ‘the retreat’. Our honesty shop will be stocked with more local delights for you to try on your stay with us.
