Suffolk has some splendid houses and gardens to enjoy throughout each season of the year. Some offer delightful cafes to enjoy drinks and homemade treats.
For the children and adults alike, what better than a farm park day out the nearest to us is Easton farm park where you can pet and feed the farm animals and play on the indoor and outdoor play areas.
Jimmy’s farm offers a more exotic animals to visit amongst the usual ones you would expect to see. Here you can also sample the delights of the lovely restaurant and buy some of Jimmy’s famous sausages to take home and enjoy.
Colchester Zoo is not too far away for a really good day out, it is one of the best zoos in the country and its easy to see why with so many species of animals from around the world, amazing play areas and restaurants.
Shawsgate vineyard is one of the oldest commercial vineyards in East Anglia and here they offer tours and wine tasting. You can explore the vineyard at your leisure a map provided so you don’t get lost! Wine is available for you to taste and buy in their shop.
